It is extremely rare and fine to find a high quality tourbillon watch for sale in a stainless steel case with a stainless steel band. Such was the case with the sale of the Blancpain Stainless Steel Leman Tourbillon No. 34 (2004). This singular timepiece was sold for $24,175 at the Christie’s Important Watch Auction this June (2010). Normally one expects to see a tourbillon – or any complication – by a renowned watch maker in a gold, silver or even platinum case. This one is an exception – and looks suitable for the professional race car driver. Unfortunately, you may not be able to find your edition of this replica Blancpain watch.

However, nobody should complain about a flying tourbillon in stainless steel. Nobody should complain about a replica of equitable quality either. The original watch – or any of this caliber – is normally valued at the $100,000 price point. A fine fake or replica will cost you a small fraction of that. Several searches will find you the most popular of the type – the “Replica Blancpain Leman Tourbillon Men’s Watch” from a number of different sellers. Like most tourbillon movements, it is displayed top and center on the face of the watch. The face dial is always available in black along with a matching black leather wrist strap. The case is of “platinum” to offset the black design.

Also in the “Leman Collection” is the “Leman Moonphase Calendar Men’s Watch”. This one is also in basic black and in a stainless case – with a medium brown leather strap band. The Moonphase indicator is very stylish featuring a cartoon of the Man in the Moon. The other calendar in this collection is the “Leman Perpetual Calendar Men’s Watch”. This one features four sub-dials for telling the calendar date, day and time along with a moonphase indicator. These are just a couple examples of the fine replica and replica Blancpain watches.
